New fauna

    Since the March 27 update, we've been treated to seagulls following the ship, lizards, bats and jellyfish.
    So far as bats are concerned: I've seen some in a cave.
    Seagulls: nothing! I did 2 runs (Outpost Plunder / Crook Hollow --- Dagger / Shipwreck Bay and no birds).
    Concerning lizards: I saw none, and I did several islands (big ones).
    Regarding jellyfish: frankly, they're beautiful but really totally useless: seeing 5/6 jellyfish...... that don't move at all, on not even 1m², I don't think that's great...

    When they were announcing a greater variety of fauna on the seas and islands... so that there'd be more life, well in fact it's exactly the same as March 26... if you know what I mean...

    I'm disappointed with this update, which I was looking forward to.

    I had quite a few gull spawns in open sea while I was meg hunting.

    I haven't seen the rest yet but it gives me something to look forward to. I just wanna encounter it organically so I'm not actively looking for it.

    Yes, the fact that you don't necessarily have to look to find them is a good thing. But let's take the example of parrots, snakes, pigs and chickens: you can see and hear them even without looking. We know they're there, because of their sense of “life presence” - linked to visuals and sounds. But if I take only the example of the lizard: it's so small that, well, you'll have to look for it ahahha.
    As for the seagulls, I probably didn't stand a luck (even though I did 2 test sessions).
    But I come back to what I was saying: in the end, I don't necessarily see “more” life on SoT, although that was the idea behind this update.

    To be honest, I don't understand what these things are for.
    Unable to capture them, the hunter didn't even ask for these things.
    It's just some texture animations.

    This Update is a Joke.
    unbelievable they call this a Feature.
    2 seagulls flying for 2 minutes beside your ship.
    6 tiny Jellyfishes at one point on some islands that dont really move.
    It is really a Joke...
